Droitwich Barge Canal
The project:
To restore 12 km of waterway and construct 1 km of new cut to re-link the Barge Canal with the Worcester & Birmingham Canal at Hanbury.
River Weaver
The project:
To flush out 30,000m3 of silt from a six mile section of the River Weaver using suction and floating dredging. The silt was restricting safe access for vessels and reducing oxygen levels in the water.
The Grand Western Canal
The project:
To dredge more than 100,000m3 of silt from the canal, in four separate stages, to reduce weed growth and protect the wildlife.
